Sierra Nevada Expeditions is a company founded in 1989 by Freddy Ramirez, one of Ecuador's pioneer professional mountain guides with large international experience. Since then this company has grown from a one-man operation to a competent team of licensed guides and section managers. Sierra Nevada's professionals specialize in different fields of adventure tourism such as climbing, rafting, biking, trekking, Galapagos, and the Amazon rainforest.
