Freddy the owner, he has been worked for many years in the hotel industry, and traveled to other countries, so we know what our guest needs, every day we do our best to please you and make of your visit a memorable experience. With a bit of humor and competence, we will be more than happy to assist and advice you to plan your visits in the city or along the country. English, French and German are spoken.

The majority of our customers are North American and European travelers, who feel attracted by the Ecuador’s amazing diversity, or professional development, most of them are, biologist, trekkers, mountaineers, groups of families or individuals, honeymooners, business travelers, University groups, Churches and Charity missions, ect. etc.

Briefing our History

Due to the success of Sierra Nevada Expeditions and considering the necessity to assist our regular clients with their lodging needs in Quito, we decided in the middle 90’s to start the restoration of an old building and convert it into a tourist class hotel.

The reconstruction of this classic style house began in 1996 and after a passionate hard work, we opened its doors in summer 1997. Since then, many tens of thousands of satisfied customers honored this house with their presence and enjoyed our hospitality.
